Diammophoska (diammonium phosphate) NPK 10-26-26 is a complex granular fertilizer for basic application and fertilizing of various crops. All elements, including phosphorus, are contained in a water-soluble form and are easily available to plants. Diammophoska can be used on all types of soils and for all crops, including cereals, vegetables, legumes, fodder and fruit and berry crops. It can also be used in greenhouses.
Diammophos is especially effective when applied locally (in a belt), which contributes to more productive use of the fertilizer. In regions with heavy precipitation, diammophoska is applied superficially, and in areas with insufficient moisture – to the full plowing depth. The fertilizer is best used as the main fertilizer for winter crops and as a pre-sowing fertilizer for spring crops. It can be used on all types of soils and for all crops.
The high content of phosphorus and potassium makes diammophoska one of the best sources of phosphorus and potassium in the fall. It is best used as the main fertilizer for winter crops when the need for these elements is very high. Phosphorus in its readily available soluble form is rapidly absorbed by the plant, which in turn stimulates the intensive growth of the root system and vegetative mass, while potassium increases the winter hardiness of winter crops and improves the quality of the crop. Nitrogen meets the moderate nutritional needs of cereals in this type of nutrition. Thanks to the two forms of nitrogen, the plant will be nourished throughout the growing season. All three macronutrients are partially retained in the soil for a longer period, providing plant nutrition in the spring. The use of diammophoska increases plant resistance to diseases, pests and unfavorable climatic conditions. The fertilizer is used on peaty, potassium and phosphorus-poor soils. Diammophoska can be used in protected ground conditions together with other fertilizers. Apply diammophoska in spring or autumn for plowing the soil, as well as as a fertilizer during the growing season. Diammophoska can be applied both in dry form and during irrigation. It is recommended to spread the fertilizer evenly over the soil surface or work it in to a depth of 5-10 cm for better absorption.
